CSI
Teacher's
Pet by Wintertime
Fandoms in general are usually wary of high-school AUs, and for good reason.
But thanks to Wintertime's hysterically in-character and in-canon view of our
favourite Las Vegas crime labtorians at school together, there is a reason to
celebrate this often visited genre again. You'll want Greg to carry your books
home for sure.
Touch
of Rememberance by Camilla Sandman
Camilla has managed to touch on all aspects of CSI's main relationships with
gentleness and quiet abandon while still retaining the frenzied complicated
nature that is so crucial to these characters.
Hopscotch
by velocityofsound
'Hopscotch' charts the rocky rise of Sara Sidle, from her diary to eventual
'heaven'. Like a child in a candy store, you're taken in and filled with in-character
goodies that leave you wanting more for days.
Cold
Comfort by Luna
A wonderfully insightful investigation into
Nick. The kind of depth you crave but can never get enough of.
and
a long, bitter aftertaste by Oro
Catherine and Gil pre-CSI can't be beat.
And how perfectly Gil to catalogue a pole-dance. A well told tale of a beautifully
problematic relationship about to start.
Lipstick
Traces by Lilla
Catherine and Sara and all that dances between
them. An insightful piece with depth and cutting dialogue.
Another
Night Falling by the Stylus
Lyrical and full of complexity. Something
you long to see on the show but know you never will. There really should be
more of this.
